Gene R. Neidig

Williamsport - Gene R. Neidig, 57 died Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit. He was born June 25, 1952 in Williamsport he was the son of George and Inez Snyder Neidig. Gene retired from Center State Amesite, Inc. as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Heshbon Park United Methodist Church. He was a 1970 graduate of Loyalsock Twp., High School. Gene was an avid NASCAR fan and Penn State fan. Surviving are his mother of Montoursville, one son Jason (Ashley) Neidig of Aberdeen, MD and a daughter Deanna Neidig of Montgomery. also a special pet boxer "Maci" He is survived by a brother Walter "Bud" (Sandy) Neidig of Muncy and a sister Alice (Ron) Schuler of Williamsport. His father and a brother James Neidig preceded him in death. The funeral service will be held 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street with Rev. David A. Keller officiating. There will be a public viewing from 2:00 - 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
