Gene R. Keller

Gene R. Keller, 90, died on Friday, March 11, 2022 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Mary J. Keller who died on July 22, 2017. The couple had been married for 60 years. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born on September 28, 1931 in York, he was a son of the late Clarence E. and Myrtle M. (Dietz) Keller. Gene was a machinist and foreman for Allis Chalmers until his retirement. Mr. Keller was a lifelong boater and a member of the Sue Haven Yacht Club. Gene is survived by his son, Keith Keller and his wife, Kim of York; three grandchildren, Shawn Keller and his wife, Jamie, Steve Bloom and Jamie Bloom; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
