Gary Nelson Potts

DOVER- Gary N. Potts, 71, died on Saturday, October 10, 2009 with his family and friends at his side. He was the loving husband of Mary L. (Shue) Potts. Services for Mr. Potts are private. A time of gathering will be 2 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2009 at Katie and George's residence, 2401 Belair Dr. (Donwood Estates) in Dover. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Potts was born on November 5, 1936 in York, a son of the late James Potts and Pauline Leber. Mr. Potts worked as a landscaper. Mr. Potts was a member of Moose Lodge #948 in Texas and the Pleasureville Legion #799. Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, and just being outdoors. He also loved dancing and golf. Along with his wife, Gary is survived by a daughter, Sandi Nalbandian and her husband Brent of Red Lion; one grandchild, Jared; one sister, Maxine Gingerich and her husband Phillip of York; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Mr. Potts in death was three brothers, James "Red" Potts, David Potts, and Donald Potts. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice Services, 218 E.
