Gary Lee Eberly

YORK- Gary L. Eberly, 75, died on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at his residence. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Born on April 23, 1940, he was a son of the late Bruce and Violet (Barshinger) Eberly. Gary was a security officer for Wackenhut Security. Mr. Eberly served our country for almost 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. and served in Vietnam. Mr. Eberly is survived by one sister, Judith Waltersdorff (Nevin) of Dover; and a niece Missy Bubb of Melrose Park, IL. He was preceded in death by one sister, Linda L. Bubb; and two brothers, Bruce and Scott Eberly.
