Garrett S. Jay

Bloomsburg—Garrett S. Jay, 22, son of David L. and Jan M. (Orwig) Jay of Dallastown, died March 26, 2007. A celebration of life service will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Rd, York, with his pastor, the Rev. Jonathan L. Bausman officiating. A visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m., Saturday, at the church. A private burial will be held at the family's convenience. Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Garrett was born March 8, 1984 in Harrisburg. He was a 2003 graduate of Dallastown High School and a biology major at Bloomsburg University. A member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in York, he was also an Eagle Scout. In addition to his parents, Garrett is also survived by his brother, Brandon D. Jay of Dallastown, maternal grandfather, Donald B. Orwig, paternal grandmother, Lois L. Jay and maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy M. Schnetzka.
