Gail A. (Gilbert) Lamendola

YORK - Gail A. (Gilbert) Lamendola, 53, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Chad M. Lamendola. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. prior to the service. Born on January 16, 1960 in York, she was the daughter of Patricia (Kelley) Gilbert and the late William Gilbert, Sr. Gail was an assistant manager at Wolf Furniture for over 12 years. Mrs. Lamendola prioritized being a great mother and Nana. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. Along with her husband, Chad, Gail is survived by one son, Michael Folkenroth and his wife, Jennifer of Mechanicsburg; two daughters, Kimberly Carroll and her husband, Scott of York and Lauryn Folkenroth and son in law, Rick Brown of Red Lion; one step son, Ian Lamendola of Dover; two grandchildren, Addilyn Carroll and Holt Carroll and one grandchild on the way; one brother, William V. Gilbert, Jr. of York; and her mother and father in law, Patricia and Peter Lamendola of Olean, NY. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Richard W. Gilbert.
