G. Richard "Dick" Culley

G. Richard “Dick” Culley, 79, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Holy Spirit Hospital. He was the husband of Doris E. (Hess) Culley to whom he was married for 61 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry with his pastor, The Rev. Matthew J. Loyer officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens. Born March 15, 1937 in Carlisle, a son of the late Robert and Catherine (O’Hara) Culley, he retired from L.B. Smith, Inc. Mr. Culley was a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church, the Wheel Horse Collectors Club and the Good Sam RV Club. Dick enjoyed hunting, fishing on the Susquehanna River and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Doris, Mr. Culley is survived by two sons, Charles E. and wife Connie Culley of Manchester and Randy R. and wife Shirley Culley of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Hope L. Culley of Scotland; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Creedon and wife Wanda Culley of Carlisle and Joel Culley of Etters; and two sisters, Carol Young of Dillsburg and Virginia Armold of Bloserville. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
