Frederick W. Danner, Jr.

YORK- Frederick W. Danner, Jr., 61, died on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at FutureCare Cold Spring in Baltimore. He was the husband of Patricia J. (Sciangula) Danner. The couple planned to celebrate their 37th wedding anniversary on May 19th. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. A private celebration of life tribute service will be livestreamed at 11 a.m. at Facebook.com/heffnertributes with certified celebrant Victoria Krouse officiating. Born on May 9, 1959 in York, he was the son of the late Frederick W. and Margaret (Kann) Danner, Sr. Frederick was a concrete finisher for Kinsley Construction for 15 years prior to his illness. His proudest accomplishment while at Kinsley was helping complete the Flight 93 Memorial and sidewalks. Frederick loved the outdoors and animals, especially his dog, Ziggy. He was a fan of the formerly known Washington Redskins and Penn State football teams. Along with his wife, Patricia, Frederick is survived by his son, Jason Danner of West York; Daughter Amanda Spahr and her husband, Zach of Etters; grandson, Austin Spahr; two sisters, Alicia Danner of York and Nannette Whitsel and her husband, Jack of Craley; nephew, Daniel Hite of York; Niece Ashley Knipel and her husband, Josh of York; and great nephew, Tyler Knipel of York.
