POTTSVILLE - Frederick R. Sep, 52, of Pottsville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday at the Schuylkill Medical Center, East Norwegian St., Pottsville. Born in Pottsville on March 18, 1956, he was a son of the late William and Rita Marx Sep. He was a 1974 graduate of Nativity High School. For the past 25 years, he worked for S.A.P.A. Extrusions Inc., in Cressona. He was a member of the former Mary Queen of Peace Church, Pottsville. Fred was a member of the United Steel Workers Union, USW. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. Fred enjoyed spending time with his cat Snoopy, and he will be sadly missed by her. Fred enjoyed watching the W.W.E. wrestling, and was a Phillies fan. Surviving Fred are: two sisters and caregivers, Elizabeth Ann Canfield, Pottsville and Rita Gloria Ender, Bethlehem; a sister Marguerite Troy, West Haven, CT; two brothers, William, of Minersville and Richard of Tremont; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM from the Church of Saint Patrick, 4th & Mahantongo St., Pottsville. Family and friends may call from from 9 until time of service Friday at the church. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Queen of the Universe Cemetery. The Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either: the St. Patrick's Soup Kitchen, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901 or the Hillside SPCA Homeless Animal Fund, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
