He also leaves his daughter Alisa Beyer and her husband Thomas of San Diego, CA; son Fredrick Fogelman III and his wife Teresa of York, PA; son Morgan Fogelman and his wife Amber of Macungie, PA; and son Curtis Little of Pennsdale, PA. He was Pop Pop to Zachery and Katie Fogelman; Maximillian, Megan, and Benjamin Beyer; and Jacob, Charles, and Isabel Fogelman. He is survived by his sister Susan Breen of Williamsport, Pa. He was preceded in death by his daughter Racheal and two brothers, David and Eugene. He will be missed by his many friends and especially by his two dogs, Bentley and Dolly. Born January 13, 1942, he was raised in Pennsdale, PA, the son of Frederick and Thelma Fogelman. Fred spent many summers of his youth at his grandparents’ farm in Pennsdale, and had many happy memories from those times. Fred and Veronica made several states their home during their marriage. A few years after meeting and marrying and starting their family, Fred and Veronica moved to California where he worked for 3M for nine years. In 1978, they returned to Pennsylvania, where he spent the next 20 years as a successful car salesman, first in Williamsport and then York. He claimed the title of Salesman of the Month too many times to count. In 1997, he decided to try his hand at entrepreneurship and founded Smoker’s Outlet in York. In 2000, they moved to Toledo, OH, and he found he had a passion for antiques and collectibles and that entrepreneurial spirit led him to open his own shop. When they moved back to Pennsylvania in 2008, he could be found most Friday nights at the local auction house, bidding and buying things to put in his next shop. Until recently, they also operated Racheal Farms, breeding and showing award-winning alpacas. One of Fred’s pastimes was driving around the farm on his favorite tractor he affectionately called Boomer. Fred also loved cars, especially fast ones, and was a proud owner of several Corvettes in his lifetime. And, he enjoyed casinos, especially the slots! Fred and Veronica enjoyed many getaways to Atlantic City where he would happily sit and play for hours. But more than anything, he loved spending time with his family. He looked forward to holidays when all of his children and grandchildren would visit. A favorite Thanksgiving tradition for Fred was the family hayride, sitting high on the tractor, leading his family on an adventure. Right where he was supposed to be. A Celebration of Life Tribute for Fred will be held from 1 to 3PM, Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York and from 1 to 2PM, Monday April 10, 2017 at Liberty Lutheran Church, 4478 Williamson Trail, Liberty, Pa 16930, with a service to follow at 2PM.
