Franz J. Emery

Wellsburg, N.Y. - Franz J. Emery, Age 44 of Gillett, PA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Corning Hospital. Franz was born January 6, 1965 in Baltimore, MD son of the late Thomas E. Emery and Dorothy (Hauser) Emery. Franz worked as a landsmen for Long Consulting Group. His memberships included NALA and AAPL. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed canoeing, rafting and the times he spent with his family and friends. Survivors include his mother Dorothy Emery of Elmira, NY, companion, Brenda Galpin of Gillett, PA, two daughters Tyne Emery of Wellsboro, PA, Cassandra Emery of Galton, PA, two sisters Ann Moresi of Plant City, FL, Pauline (Michael Tice) Emery of Elmira, NY, a niece Melissa Moresi, nephew, Roy Tice, three uncles, Rudolph Hauser, Gerhard Hauser and William Emery, an aunt, Loretta Savage, cousins and many friends. Family and friends are invited to celebration of life at 1:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Brick Tavern, corner of Rte. 6 and Berwick Turnpike, Burlington, PA.
