Franklin R. 'Frank' Krise

TROY- Franklin R. "Frank" Krise, 89, formerly of Elmira, NY, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Troy Community Hospital. He was the husband of the late Marcheta C. (Rought) Krise, then the late Dorothy (Rudinski) Krise. Family and friends are welcome to gather for Franks graveside committal service at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 8, 2010 at the Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, PA with Franks pastor, Rev. Ronald F. Aebersold, officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street Troy, PA. Frank was born on April 12, 1921 in Ogdensburg, PA, son of the late Charles and Frances Krise. He attended Liberty High School, and after worked for Ingersoll-Rand in Painted Post, NY, as a Quality Control Inspector until his retirement. He attended Central Baptist Church in East Corning, NY. Franks true passions were cars and motorcycles. He had car dealerships in the Corning area, and thought there was no other motorcycle other than the Harley Davidson. Frank is survived by his daughter Barbara J. (Howard) Baldwin of Troy, PA, stepchildren: Joe (Sheila) Rudinski, Steve (Kate) Rudinski, David Rudinski, Rose Rudinski, and Micki (Paul) Chamberlain, his grandchildren: Tina (LaRue) Ostrander, David (Shelly) Baldwin, Kelly Krise, and Allan Krise, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews, and good friend Elma Fulkerson. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, both of his wives, his son Allan Krise, his granddaughter Jami Jackson, and several brothers and sisters. Contributions may be made in Franks memory to the charity of ones own choosing.
