Franklin Etter Musser

SHILOH-Franklin Etter Musser, 89, of West Manchester Twp., died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Manor Care Health Services-Kingston Court, York. He was the husband of Gloria Mae (Smead) Musser. The couple celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on April, 25, 2007. A Celebration of life Service will be 2 p.m. on Sunday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a visitation from 1-2p.m. Military Honors will be by York County Veteran's Honor Guard at the start of the service. Mr. Musser was born in York on April 26, 1918, a son of the late John Musser and Esther (Etter) Young. He retired from Crowley Oil Company in York and also worked part time for Weis Markets in York. Mr. Musser was a US Army veteran who served in WWII and was a member of the West York VFW. Mr. Musser leaves a daughter, Sandra L. Miller of York, grandchildren and great grandchildren and a nephew. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Knaub and a brother Bruce Samuel Musser. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
