SPRING GROVE- Frank T. Godfrey, 76, died on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara M. (Godfrey) Godfrey to whom he was married for 56 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Pastor Mark Rohnke officiating. Viewings will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on March 11, 1945 in Stonybrook, he was a son of the late James H. and Caroline (Sterner) Godfrey. Frank was a delivery driver and route salesman for Pepsi Co. for 35 years. He also worked for On Time Delivery, G.F. Plitts and Godfrey’s Ice over the years. Mr. Godfrey was a member of the West York Church of the Brethren. He loved buying and selling collectables at flea markets including Morningstar Marketplace, Root’s Country Market & Auction and Williams Grove Farmers Flea Market. He always enjoyed joking with people and most importantly loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with his wife, Barbara, Frank leaves three sons, Matthew Godfrey and his companion, Brenda Wolf of Dover, Jeffrey Godfrey and his wife, Lisa of Hanover and David Godfrey and his wife, Christina of York; daughter, Bonnie Godfrey and her companion, Yohance Jones of Dover; seven grandchildren, Brittany, Jordan, Jarrett, Jacob, Hector, Taylor and Trace; three great grandchildren; brother, Richard Godfrey and his wife, Brenda of Felton; three sisters, Edith Seigman of East Prospect, Rose Godfrey of Felton and Mary Godfrey of York.
