Frank Lee 'Andy' Anderson, Jr.

MILTON - Frank Lee “Andy” Anderson, Jr., 74, died on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Frank was born in Sunbury on December 15, 1937 and was the son of the late Frank Lee and Arlie Ruth (Kelly) Anderson, Sr. He had graduated Northumberland High School in 1957. On August 29, 1969, he married the former Sandra Lee (Engle), who survives, and would have celebrated 43 years of marriage this August. Frank had worked at Haddens Greenhouse and Rocky’s Garage in Northumberland, then worked for Con Agra Foods for 43 years and retired in 2001. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milton, Loyal Order of Moose, Lycoming County Sportsman’s Club and Rifleman’s Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tournament archery, working in his shop, rebuilding his red truck, playing Frisbee with his dog “Fritz” and watching wrestling. He was an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steeler Fan. In addition to his wife, Sandra, he is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law; Andrew Anderson of Montgomery and Todd Anderson and Alyssa Baldwin Anderson of Lancaster, three daughters and one son-in-law; Kathleen Anderson of Turbotville and Karen Anderson Werner and Jeff Werner and Deborah Anderson Sponenberg, all of Muncy, nine grandchildren; Nicolus Anderson and wife Allison of Myrtle Beach, SC, Cailyn Knouse of Montgomery, Kara Anderson Winter and husband Randy Winter of Candor, NY, Michael Anderson of Muncy, Tarin Sponenberg Gordon and husband AJ Gordon of Halstead, Allan Stover, Jr, in the Navy/deployed in the South Pacific, Rachel Anderson of Lancaster, Fallyn Anderson of Turbotville and Hannah Anderson Lancaster, six great-grandchildren, one sister; Sarah Brown of Sunbury, mother-in-law; Viola Weaver of Milton and many nieces and nephews. There will be a public viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton, PA 17847, and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at the funeral home followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend James R. Dries will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery.
