Frank K. Meeks

York—Frank K. Meeks, 78, died Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at his residence. He was the husband of Mary A. (Ninehouser) Meeks to whom he was married for 35 years. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, with the Rev. Fr. Charles L. Persing of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dallastown officiating. Burial will be held in Holy Saviour Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., Monday, at the funeral chapel. Mr. Meeks was born February 19, 1928 in Washington, D.C., a son of the late Frank K. and Edna (Kemp) Meeks. He was a self employed business owner of FKM & Associates, for 20 years, until his retirement in 2004. Frank was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. In addition to his wife, Mr. Meeks is also survived by one son, Donald E. Wilson of Baltimore, one grandson, Zachary E. Wilson and two nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister.
