POTTSVILLE- Frank J. Zvorsky, III, 70, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, January 16, 2014, surrounded by his loving family at HCR ManorCare, Pottsville after a battle with cancer. Born in Pottsville, on September 11, 1943, he was a son of the late Frank J. and Gertrude (Dixon) Zvorsky, Jr. Frank proudly served in the US Army from 1961-1963. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. Prior to retirement, Frank worked for John’s Leasing, Schuylkill Haven, as a truck driver for 8 years. Frank enjoyed driving truck and drove for over 50 years. Frank was a member of the Second Mountain Rod & Gun Club, Schuylkill Haven. He was an avid collector of coins and enjoyed collecting baseball and football cards. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: a son, Frank J. “Fella” Zvorsky, IV, who passed away in 1998, a brother, Richard Zvorsky. Surviving is his loving wife of 48 years, the former Byrel A. Chalinsky, three loving daughters, Maureen Berdanier, Pottsville, Deann Young, Schuylkill Haven, Lisa Zvorsky, Pottsville, two loving sons, Jerome Skwait, at home, Jason Zvorsky, Lancaster, five grandchildren, Skye, Ciera, Ivori , Erika and Matt, 7 great grandchildren, Evan, Lilah, Madeline, Gianny, Jaimani “Little Buddy”, Atreyu & McKenzie, four brothers, Michael, Buffalo, NY, Vincent “Pee Wee”, New Cumberland, PA, David, Brockton, PA, Leonard, Elizabethtown, PA, several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on Tuesday evening, January 21, 2014, at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 6th & W. Market Streets, Pottsville, form 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service at 8:00 with Reverend Peggy Sue Pfeffer, Assistant Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, as the Celebrant. Interment will be in private in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Hillside, Pottsville In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 16 N. 4th Street, Minersville, PA 17954 Online condolences at www.BestLifeTributes.com
