LOGANTON - Frank J. Brungard, 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Haven Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing, Lock Haven. He was born March 7, 1932 in Rosecrans to the late Frank and Leona (Schwab) Brungard. Frank was married to Janet Smith Brungard who preceded him in death. He married his second wife Valerie (Barrett) Brungard who survives. In March they celebrated thirty-six years of marriage. Frank served in the United States Air Force from 1951 -1955. He then worked for Piper Aircraft till their departure. He was a member of Local 812 Electrical Union in Williamsport where he retired. He then went to work for Lowe's in Mill Hall a job, which he loved. Frank was a devoted Christian who loved and lived for God. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Bible Church in Rosecrans. He is survived by his wife; and two daughters; Peg (Charles) Shaffer of Lock Haven and N. Myrtle Beach SC, Tina (Tony) DeAnda of Mannassas, VA and a son Frank (Crystal) Brungard of Highspire, one step-son William (Guila) McCloskey of Loganton and a stepdaughter Lori (Dan) Kohen of Mill Hall. Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Two brothers Gene Brungard of Loganton and David Brungard of Mill Hall also two sisters Dorothy Arnold of Camp Hill and Darlene Newberry of Woolrich and a sister-in-law Marguerite Brungard survive him. A brother Donald Brungard preceded him in death. The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Pastor Melvin Musser officiating. Friends and relatives will be received from 5 - 8 p.m., In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his name to Mt. Pleasant Bible Church. Interment will be private at Rosecrans Cemetery.
