Francis "Frank" Reilly

DOVER - Frank Reilly, 67, of Dover, PA, passed away on November 1, 2023. He was born on November 10, 1955 in Long Island, NY. Frank was a man of great character, known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and wonderful sense of humor. He had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and wildlife, and his love for the outdoors took him to great heights as he conquered numerous peaks. Frank’s storytelling abilities were unmatched, and he played a vital role in creating countless treasured memories for those fortunate enough to know him. H had a great love of music and reading. Above all, he cherished his role as “Poppy” to his beloved grandchildren, never hesitating to join them in play, even when exhaustion set in. his untimely departure has left a void that can never be filled.

Frank leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He is survived by his loving daughters, Jackie and Christina; his adored grandchildren, Ava, Adam, and Jacob; his brothers, Leo, Joseph, and Patrick; and his sisters, Eileen, and Laureen. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Eileen; a brother, Raymond; and a sister, Kathleen.

In 1978, Frank graduated from the State University of New York College at Geneseo, following his earlier education at Connetquot High School.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Audubon Society in Frank’s name. Donations can be made to support the organization’s important work in preserving and protecting birds and their habitats.
