Francesca (Abbatiello) Cioffi

RED LION- Francesca (Abbatiello) Cioffi, 81, of Windsor Township, died Tuesday, January 7, 2014 in Winter Haven, FL. She was the wife of Dante Cioffi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 13, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 251 E. Main Street in Dallastown. The Reverend John A. McCloskey, OFM Cap. will be officiating at the service. Viewings will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion and 10-11 a.m. on Monday at the church. Entombment will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Mrs. Cioffi was born in Durazzano, Italy on February 8, 1932, the daughter of the late Francesco and Mariantonietta (Bernardo) Abbatiello. Mrs. Cioffi was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dallastown. Mrs. Cioffi leaves a loving son, Dante Cioffi and his fiancé, Karen Henderson of Winter Haven Florida; her loving daughter, Maria Thivierge and her husband Donald of Red Lion; four grandchildren, Dante, III, Alexandra, Danielle and Nicole; A brother, Antonio Abbatiello, and a sister, Virginia Gileno. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Giovanni, Alfonso, and Carmine Abbatiello; and a sister, Maria Abbatiello.
