Frances Romaine (Stoutzenberger) Dietz

YORK- Frances Romaine (Stoutzenberger) Dietz, 72, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at Hospice & Community Care in Mt. Joy. She was the wife of Donald L. Dietz, Sr., to whom she was married 54 years. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born September 7, 1943 in Columbia, Frances was a daughter of the late Earl Jeremiah and Mabel (Lowe) Stoutzenberger. She was an avid lover of bingo, but she was most fond of her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with her husband, Mrs. Dietz is survived by three sons, Donald L. Dietz, Jr. and his wife Deb of Wrightsville, Joseph A. Dietz, Sr. and his wife Judy of York, and Stephen D. Dietz and Angela L. Hake of York; a daughter, Donna M. Holland and her husband Mark of York; five grandchildren, Jason, Kristen, Amber, Joseph, Jr., and Gabrielle; seven great grandchildren, Nolan, Tyler, Cameron, Kendall, Isabella, Maci, and Jaxson; a brother, William Stroutzenberger of Moses Lake, WA; three sisters, Betty Lou Wenger and her husband Vaughn of Columbia, Harriet Lauver and her husband Miles of Marietta, and Patricia Ann Witmer and her husband Glenn of Millersville, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by five brothers, Earl, Tom, Richard “Red”, Kenneth “Duck”, and Robert, and a granddaughter, LeeAnn Dietz.
