Frances R. Hilbert

RED LION – Frances R. (Kilgore) Hilbert, 94, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at Brunswick at Longstown. She was the wife of the late Edwin S. Frey and the late Paul W. Hilbert. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Rt. Rev’d Barry E. Yingling officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM Thursday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery. Born March 8, 1927 in Chanceford, a daughter of the late Harry and Eva (Stewart) Kilgore, she had worked at various cigar factories and later retired from the housekeeping dept. at York Hospital. She had been a member at Emmanuel UCC in Freysville and American Legion Ladies Auxillary. Mrs. Hilbert is survived by five children, Helen Frey Smith of York, Leroy E. Frey, Sr. of Georgia, Robert S. Frey of Alabama, John P. Frey of Alaska and Doris A. Eater of York; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a sister Flo of York.
