Frances L. Runkle

NORTH BEND - Frances L. Runkle, age 73, died at Jersey Shore Hospital on Wednesday, June 9, 2010. She was born in Lewistown, Pa. on Feb. 3, 1937, a daughter of the late James and Alice (McMaster) Campbell. Frances attended North Bend United Methodist Church, worked for several years as a custodian at Bucktail Schools, was an avid television viewer, loved her cat, and enjoyed family time, especially with her grandchildren. She is survived by her long time companion: Ronald Long, son: Michael (Mary) Kimberly of Schwenksville, daughters: Joyce (Glenn) Neff of Lewistown and Teresa Logan of Coppel, Texas and five grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers: Richard (Judy) Campbell of Fayetteville, Pa and Darrell (Ann) Campbell of Lewistown, sisters: Carol Troutman and Alice (Irvin) Elder, both of Lewistown and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St. Renovo at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 with Rev. Dennis A. Smith officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in North Bend Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Clinton Co. Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
