Frances H. Williams

POTTSVILLE- Frances H. Williams, 82, of Pottsville, passed away Friday morning at Reading Hospital. Born in Cass Township on October 11, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Constantine and Frances Shemansky Pleva. She was a 1946 graduate of Pottsville High School. Frances worked for several years at Bell Telephone before raising her children. Most recently she worked in the rectory at Saint Patrick's Church, Pottsville. She was a member of Saint Patrick's Church. She volunteered at the soup kitchen and enjoyed attending shows with the Saint Patrick's Church senior citizens. She loved to travel gardening and listening to polkas. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Jacob T. Williams, who passed away March 18, 1989. Surviving Frances are her five daughters, Connie Williams, of Upper Darby, PA, Diana Kustan, wife of Charles, of Cumbola, Rosanne Mills, wife of Rickey, of Fountain Springs, Linda Siberski, wife of Duane, of Mohnton, PA, and Lori Bizzoco, wife of Michael, of Sicklerville, NJ; her two sons, Gary Williams, of Conshohocken, PA and Scott Williams, husband of Alison, of King of Prussia, PA; her 12 Grandchildren; her 4 greatgrandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Patrick's Church, 4th & Mahantongo Streets, Pottsville. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and also on Friday morning from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Streets, Pottsville. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Hillside, Pottsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to either Saint Patrick's Church, 319 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville, PA 17901, or the American Cancer Society, 16 North 4th Street, Minersville, PA 17954.
