Frances F. Eisenhour

YORK--Frances Fay (Kapp) Eisenhour, our mother, nan, and best friend, went home to be with her Savior and beloved on Friday, April 15, 2022. Fran was born on August 11, 1945 in York, the youngest child of Bayard R. Kapp Sr., and Evelyn (Wagner) Kapp. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brothers, Bayard R. Kapp Jr., Larry P. Kapp and her sister, Gwendolyn Kapp. Fran graduated from Susquehannock High School in 1962 at the young age of 16 years old. As Frank Sinatra sang, “I did it my way”, so did Fran. She had an epic life, a family she truly adored, survived two disastrous hurricanes and floods. Caught the largest sailfish of the day in Acapulco Mexico, snorkeled in Key West Florida and Jamaica and cruised the western Caribbean with her granddaughters, Nichole and Tara. Fran also vacationed in the Bahamas, Nassau, Cayman Islands and many local beaches. Rehoboth beach being her favorite. She loved home mashed potatoes and gravy, chocolate peanut butter fudge, working in her oriental gardens and spoiling those she loved. Fran is survived by her two sons, Jamie and Mark Zortman; grandchildren, Nichole, Tara, Ryan, Cody, Tanner, Justice, Gage, Jada, Jaden and Derek; four great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to any no kill animal shelter. A Celebration of Life Tribute will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. YES, SHE DID IT HER WAY! Send Condolences at HeffnerCare.com CLICK HERE TO SEND FLOWERS
