WILLIAMSPORT - Frances E. (Tarr) Wykoff, 89, died on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Williamsport Hospital. Frances was born on March 3, 1921 in Gleasonton and was the daughter of the late Arthur P. and Clarabelle (Simpson) Tarr. She was a graduate of Renovo High School. On July 13, 1962, she married Howard R. Wykoff in North Bend and who survives. She had worked at W.T. Grant for 20 years. She was a member of the North Bend Methodist Church, Moose and Democratic Club. Frances enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Richard L. and Mary Farnsworth of Salladasburg, one daughter and son-in-law; Donna R. and Robert Wagner of Lawrenceville, seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son; Donald G. Farnsworth, one sister; Florence "Betty" Tolomay, four brothers; Frank, Arthur, Jack and Kenneth Tarr and her first husband; Richard L. Farnsworth. There will be a public viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Pastor J.J. Shimko will officiate the services. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bucktail Medical Center, 1001 Pine St., Renovo, PA 17764.
