Floyd H. Heltebridle

Floyd H. Heltebridle, 87, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Norma J. (Heiner) Heltebridle who passed away on August 11th and to whom he shared 67 years of marriage. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, October 31, 2016 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Certified Celebrant Jessica Smith officiating. A viewing will be held from 12:30 -1:30 PM Monday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born December 23, 1928 in Hanover, a son of the late Logan A. and Martha A. (Strausbaugh) Heltebridle, he retired from the former Borg Warner, Inc. Mr. Heltebridle was a life member of Viking Athletic Assoc. and Reliance Fire Co. He loved his 1950’s Buick and being outdoors hunting, fishing, boating and spending time with his wife in Ocean City, MD. Mr. Heltebridle is survived by two sons, Floyd E. Heltebridle of York and Todd S. Heltebridle of West York; a daughter, Juanita M. and husband Kim Wilkins of West York; six grandchildren, Eric, Olivia, Jason, Justin, Sarah, and Nathan; 10 great grandchildren, Brent, Gavin, Garrett, McKenzi, Addyson, Jaidyn, Kaiya, Felicity, Rae, and Wyatt; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
