Florence E. (Boyce) Irwin

LOCK HAVEN - Florence E. (Boyce) Irwin, 82, of Church Street, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Gatehouse. She was born December 22, 1929 in Flemington the daughter of Jacob M. and Florence E. (Bechdel) Boyce. Florence was married to George E. Irwin, Sr. who died in 1991. She was a member of the Flemington Church of Christ. Florence was an avid bingo player, she loved reading and traveling. She also enjoyed family time especially with her grandchildren. Surviving are two sons David Boyce of Williamsport and George Irwin, Jr. of Deming, New Mexico. Five grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. One brother George (Peggy) Boyce of Myrtle Beach, SC She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and also a special niece and caregiver Carol (Robert) Fiedler of Jersey Shore. Four brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill hall has charge of arrangements.
