Flo S. (Almoney) Kreeger, 89, died at 12:26 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2007, at Colonial Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late James "Pete" Kreeger, Sr. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Kreeger was born March 24, 1918, in Springettsbury Twp. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur R. and Mamie E. (Ehrhart) Almoney. A loving homemaker, she enjoyed the outdoors, especially her gardening, and also enjoyed her needlepoint. She was a member of St. Paul's Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Kreeger leaves her daughter, Pauline M. Wolf and husband, Lance, of Dallastown; her four sons, Clyde L Kreeger and wife, Lois, of Gila Bend, AZ, James K. Kreeger, Jr. and wife, Connie, of Red Lion, Theodore W. Kreeger and wife, Jo, of Norfolk, VA, Ralph A. Kreeger and wife, Shirley, of Red Lion; 11 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 14 step great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Margie Crumling and Rose Smith, both of York; three brothers, Jack Almoney of Red Lion, William Almoney and Harry Almoney, both of Hellam; and nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Smith; and three brothers, James, Joseph and Robert Almoney.
