Ferne R. Waltemyer

BROGUE – Ferne R. (Brown) Waltemyer, 96, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022 at UPMC Memorial. She was the wife of the late P. Thomas Waltemyer. A private graveside service for family and close friends will be held at St. James Lutheran Cemetery. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Waltemyer was born on October 25, 1925 in York, a daughter of the late Roy and Lois (Crawford) Brown. She is survived by three sons, Tyrone K. and wife Joan Waltemyer of Wellsboro, PA, Gerald T. and wife Virginia Waltemyer of Santa Rosa, CA, and Brett E. and wife Cathy Waltemyer of Brogue; four granddaughters; two great grandsons and a great granddaughter; and a sister, Grace Frey of Yoe. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Alma Filmore, Edna Hersey, Evelyn Bender and Doris Bacon; and three brothers, Pete, Sam and Jack Brown. CLICK HERE TO SEND FLOWERS
