Ferne O. (Shenberger) Seitz

WINDSOR - Ferne O. (Shenberger) Seitz, 90, died Saturday, June 13, 2009, at her residence. She was the loving wife of the late Clyde H. Seitz. A celebration of life service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Road, Red Lion with the Rev. Dr. Glenn M. Dietrich, officiating. A viewing will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Windsor Cemetery. Born July 13, 1918 in New Bridgeville, she was a daughter of the late Dr. William J. and Ida Belle (Smith) Shenberger. Mrs. Seitz was a 1939 graduate of York School of Beauty Culture and the owner/operator of Ferne's Beauty Salon for 50 years. She was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Windsor. Mrs. Seitz is survived by two sisters, Hester M. Wood of New Mexico and Ruth S. Toomey of Windsor; three nephews, William Toomey, Arthur Wood and Dr. Allan Wood.
