Fern G. (Craley) Stump

YORK – Fern G. (Craley) Stump, 91, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of Percy B. Stump to whom she was married for 72 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, January 19, 2015 at Christ United Methodist Church, 200 N. Main Street, Jacobus with her pastor, The Rev. Randy S. Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Christ U.M. Cemetery. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born August 1, 1923 on the family farm in Chanceford Twp., she was the daughter of the late J. Henry and Effie Mae (Haugh) Craley. Mrs. Stump was a member of Christ U.M. Jacobus and enjoyed caring for her home and family. In addition to her husband Percy, Mrs. Stump is survived two sons, Lynn A. and wife Janice Stump and Kevin C. and wife Yvonne Stump both of York; four grandsons; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ U.M. Church, c/o Endowment Fund, 200 N. Main St., Jacobus, PA 17407.
