Faye K. Fryer

Lock Haven - Faye K. "Sally" Fryer, age 75, of Woolrich, died at Lock Haven Hospital on Friday, August 1, 2008. She was born in Lock Haven on January 30, 1933, daughter of the late Ralph and Ella Bowmaster Orndorf. She was also preceded by her step-father: Stanley Walizer. Sally worked as a production worker for Clinton Paper Co. for 18 years, was an accomplished cook, loved the outdoors and wildlife, and enjoyed watching T.V. and playing with her cat "Moses." Besides her parents and step-father, she was preceded by her husband: Thomas Fryer in April of 1995 Surviving are her son: Thomas (Melinda) Fryer II of Woolrich, daughters: Dorothy (Randy) Leitzel of Milton, Deborah Dersham of Washingtonville, and Tammy (Charles) Karichner of Lock Haven. Also surviving are grandchildren: Nick, Matt, Coty, and Tater, 6 great grandchildren, brothers: Domer Orndorf of Mechanicsburg, Jack Orndorf of Lock Haven, sisters; Vivian Young of Avis, Jeanette Eck of Woolrich, and Linda Fenton of Lock Haven, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Helt Funeral Chapel for a time of visitation from 6-7 p.m. Sunday. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Dunnstown Cemetery. Memorial donations are requested to the S.P.C.A.
