Faye C. (Shermeyer) Campbell

RED LION- Faye C. (Shermeyer) Campbell, 88, died on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Manor Care, Dallastown. She was the wife of Clarence W. Campbell, to whom she was married for 70 years. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A funeral cortege will meet at the entrance of the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born on August 9, 1928 in Red Lion, she was a daughter of the late Ivan E. and M. Augusta (Hauff) Shermeyer. Faye was a mail room clerk at McCrory’s. Mrs. Campbell was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Red Lion. Faye enjoyed bowling, reading and collecting coins and stamps. Along with her husband, Clarence, Faye is survived by one son, Jeffrey L. Campbell and wife, Tina of Red Lion; two daughters, Sandra L. Smith of Red Lion and Bonnie L. Leiphart and husband, Richard of York; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and one brother, John F. Shermeyer of York. She was preceded in death by one sister, Janet L. Beck; and one brother, Ivan Shermeyer, Jr.
