Faye A. (Confer) Beaver

DANVILLE - Faye A. (Confer) Beaver, 75, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born on April 26, 1941 in Danville and was the daughter of the late Walter W. ”Spike” and Elsie O. (Beaver) Confer. On August 18, 1957 Faye married the late Dale L. Beaver and they celebrated 40 years of marriage together until his death on October 14, 1997. Faye was a hard worker. She spent many years raising her four children and working on the family farm. She then went on and worked at the Silk Mill, Danville, Danville Area High School in the cafeteria, Geisinger Medical Center and was currently employed with Hackenberg Bus Company driving a van for the Milton Area School District. She enjoyed many things but most of all she loved going out to eat, reading, jig saw puzzles and taking care of her flowers. Faye is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; John W. and Rhonda M. Beaver of Milton, three daughters and sons-in-law; Patricia A. and Robert L. Riehl of Danville, Karen S. and Brian P. Richie of New Columbia and Jenny M. and Anthony Beaver-Conmy, five grandchildren; Megan Bryson and her husband Keith, Jenelle Beaver, Tyler Riehl, Andrew Richie and Carter Conmy, five great grandchildren, two sisters; Virginia Shultz of Danville and Carolyn Carroll of Watsontown and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Faye was preceded in death by one sister Dorothy “Dot” Folk. A public graveside service for Faye will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Harmony Cemetery, Milton with Pastor Robert Strobel officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
