Fay T. Morgan

TROY, PA - Fay T. Morgan, "Granny Nut" Age 85 of Troy, PA passed away Friday, July 9, 2010 at the Green Home Wellsboro, PA. She was born August 28, 1924 in Dumbarton, VA daughter of the late Henry & Gladys (Sumner) Tiller. She was a graduate of Ashland Virginia High School. Fay was employed as a bus driver in Armenia Township for many years and later worked in the Troy Middle School Cafeteria. She also was the Tax Collector for Armenia Township. Her memberships included the First Baptist Church of Troy, Rebecca's her interests were studying family genealogy and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband James T. Morgan of Troy, PA, daughters and sons in law, Anita & Ozzie Osgood of Gillett, PA, June & Ross Cummings of Wellsboro, PA, May Decker & Paul Ford of Chatham, NY, Elaine Morgan & Larry Colton of Troy, PA, sons and daughters-in-law, Kelvin & Irene Morgan of Mansfield, PA, Wayne & Sonya Morgan of Troy, PA, 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her parents, two sons, Jon Morgan, Dennis Morgan and infant daughter, Naomi, predeceased Fay. Family and friends are invited to call Monday, July 12, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at the First Baptist Church of Troy, 160 Canton Street Troy, PA. Her funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 8 PM with Rev. Garry Zuber officiating. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, PA. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 W. Main Street, Troy, PA.
