Fay H. Galbraith

YORK—Fay H. (Miller) Galbraith, 87, passed away Wednesday January 13, 2021 at Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community. She was the wife of Robert L. Galbraith Jr., to whom she was married for 66 years. A Celebration of Life Tribute will be at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born October 15, 1933 in Shamokin, Northumberland Co., she was a daughter of late Arthur R. and Hilda G. (Walburn) Miller. She was employed for several years as a supervisor with Continental Insurance until her retirement. Previously she worked as an operator with Bell Telephone Company and as a secretary at St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ. A 1951 graduate of William Penn Senior High School—Harrisburg, she also enjoyed gardening, photography and reading fiction novels. Mrs. Galbraith is survived by three daughters, Debra L. Storicks and husband, Vic of Erie, Laurie A. Miller of York and Heather Y. Kottmyer and husband, John of York; three grandchildren, Jerry, Daniel and Nathaniel and four great grandchildren, Casey, Zachary, Zoey and Kyle.
