WINDSOR- Evelyn (McClane) Stine, 80, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of the late Albert S. Stine. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held Monday, March 31, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, at 10 AM with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A viewing will be held Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home and Monday from 9- 10 AM prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born February 8, 1934 in York, Evelyn was a daughter of the late James and Bessie (Myers) McClane. She worked as a cigar maker and later was a homemaker and caretaker of many children. Evelyn loved her dog and cat very much. She also enjoyed babysitting and always had children around. Mrs. Stine is survived by two sons, Gary L. Stine and his wife Sally of Abbottstown and Terry A. Stine and his wife Cathy of Thomasville; three daughters, Linda Montgomery and her husband James of Windsor, Cindy Condit and her husband Stephen of Florida and Patty Covington and her husband Eric of Red Lion; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; three brothers, Gerald McClane of Lewisberry, Danny McClane and his wife Ann of Dallastown and Tom McClane and his wife Joyce of Spry; five sisters, Johanne Gohn and her husband Spence of Windsor, Sue Yurger and her husband Joe of Dover, Helen Weire and her husband Ernie of York, Peggy Reever of Hellam and Jackie Laird of Windsor; a daughter in law, Deb Stine of Windsor and a brother in law, Tom Rial of Winterstown. In addition to her husband and parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by a son, Larry R. Stine and a sister, Jill Rial. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 2449 S. Queen Street, York, PA 17402.
