Evelyn M. (Runkle) Arnold

Watch Video Tribute RED LION- Evelyn M. (Runkle) Arnold, 96, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Raymond E. Arnold, Sr. to whom she was married to on April 19, 1930. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with the Rev. Ersel Staples officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8 PM Monday and from 9-10 AM Tuesday. Burial will be in Red Lion Cemetery. Mrs. Arnold was born on May 2, 1913 in Lower Windsor Twp. to the late F. Clyde and F. Edna (Haugh) Runkle. She was a former member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Mrs. Arnold was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Arnold is survived by a son, Raymond E. Arnold, Jr. and his wife Sandy of Red Lion; a daughter Wilma F. (Arnold) Lloyd and her late husband Myles E. Lloyd, Jr. of Ocala, FL; two grandchildren, Troy Arnold and his wife Heather and Greg Lloyd and his wife Lynn; five great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; three step great grandchildren; two step great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, James F. Runkle; a sister, Kathryn R. Beaverson; and a granddaughter, Stacy Jo Arnold.
