Evelyn M. (Fetzer) Miller

WILLIAMSPORT - Evelyn M. (Fetzer) Miller, 91, a former resident of South Williamsport passed away Monday evening, March 10, 2014 at Rose View Center where she resided since November. She was born in McEwensville on July 1, 1922. Evelyn was married to Arthur E. Miller on August 1, 1945 in which they celebrated 67 years of marriage together. He preceded her in death December 6, 2012. Evelyn worked as a librarian at the former Grit Publishing for 22 ½ years retiring in 1981. She was a former member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Surviving are one daughter Patti J. Bastress of Williamsport and a grandson Shane R. (Teresa) Bastress of Watsontown. A sister-in-law Helen Fetzer of Selinsgrove also survives along with two nieces Kay and Judy. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Twin Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street.
