Evelyn L. (Wherley) Winter

RED LION- Evelyn L. (Wherley) Winter, 91, died on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Palmer E. Winter. Services for Mrs. Winter are private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born on July 3, 1926 in York, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mae (Bruaw) Wherley. Evelyn was a secretary, hair dresser and homemaker. Mrs. Winter attended Living Word Community Church. Mrs. Winter is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Johnson and husband, Dave of West Chester, Cynthia Kern and husband, Dan and Melanie Winter and companion, Greg of Red Lion; six grandchildren, Belinda, India, Lacy, Noelle, Samuel and Andrew; 13 great grandchildren; and one sister, Phyllis Grim of Emigsville.
