Evelyn G. (Billet) Shenk

YORK - Evelyn G. (Billet) Shenk, 88, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Herman D. Shenk to whom she was married for 61 years. Tribute services and burial will be private in Mount Rose Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born April 18, 1920 in York, a daughter of the late Harold W. and Alice E. (Stambaugh) Billet, she was a member of Fourth United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Shenk is survived by a son, Bradley L. and wife Debra Shenk of York. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy A. Fasano.
