Dover—Evangeline M. (Richcrick) Bjork, 90, a resident of Providence Place in Dover, died Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services-North. She was the wife of the late Oscar E. Bjork to whom she was married for 53 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 AM, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with her pastor, the Rev. Robert A. Vizthum officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8 PM, Tuesday and from 9-10 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Mount Rose Cemetery. Born January 11, 1924 in York New Salem, she was a daughter of the late J. Allen and Mabel B. (Glatfelter) Richcrick. She was employed with Lok Box as an assembler for 20 plus years until her retirement in 1986. A member of Chapel United Methodist Church, she also enjoyed bowling with her friends, was a enthusiastic participant in many activities at Providence Place and loved taking bus trips with her husand Oscar. Mrs. Bjork is survived by two daughters, Carol A. Bosworth and husband, Joseph of Dallastown and Kay E. Westerhold of Dover; three grandchildren, Kevin Behne, David Kelly and Susan Hinkle; four great grandchildren, Derek Kelly, Eric Behne, Kyle Kelly and Bryce Hinkle; one brother, Charles Richcrick; one sister, Laverna Glatfelter and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Kinendinst and Rosa Overmiller and one brother, Claire Richcrick.
