YORK- Eva M. (Berkheimer) Moul, 99, former resident of Autumn House West, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at ManorCare North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Curvin A. Moul. Mrs. Moul was born in York on May 4, 1909, a daughter of the late Samuel and Katie (Miller) Berkheimer. She was the Head Cook at West York High School. Mrs. Moul was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, York. She volunteered her cooking skills for Dover Fire Hall. Mrs. Moul belonged to a card club and enjoyed traveling with her late husband. She bragged that they had been to 48 states traveling in their motor home. A funeral tribute service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with her pastor, Rev. Elmer W. V. Scofield officiating. A viewing will be from 9 to 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery, York. Surviving are a daughter, Betty L. Stauch; daughter in law, Margret R. Moul; 7 grandchildren, Fred Stauch, Carla Myers, Dave Stauch, Carl Moul, Jr., Sandra Wallick, Linda Burke, and Edward Heiland; 28 great grandchildren; and numerous great, great grandchildren; and a brother, Ken Berkheimer. Preceding her in death is a son, Carl E. Moul, Sr., son in law, Louis Stauch; two grandsons, Bob and Bill Heiland; five sisters; and one brother. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, 1569 W. Market St., York, PA 17404.
