Eugenia P. Shank

DOVER--The family of Eugenia P. Shank of Dover, is saddened to announce her passing on Thursday September 16, 2021, at the age of 55 years. Eugenia was born on September 25, 1965 to Eugene E. and Janet M. King in York. On Friday, May 13, 1988 she married her high school sweetheart, Bradley L. Shank of York. They shared 41 amazing years together and 33 years of marriage and throughout those 41 years they were blessed with two beautiful children and five grandchildren who were the highlight of her life. She graduated from York High in 1983. She worked at Rabbit Transit for 10 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union before leaving work to become a full-time homemaker for her loving husband, children and five grandchildren. She was an avid animal lover and she always wanted to have an animal shelter full of animals that needed love, shelter, and food. By her side besides her family, was her loyal German Shephard, Dutchess and two cats, Romeo and Pretty Girl. Eugenia is survived by her husband, Bradley L. Shank; one daughter Rebecca Hoff and her three children Destiny, Joshua & Chance all of Dover; one son Bradley L. Shank Jr. and his fiancé Nicole Werner and their two children Madeline & Jaxin all of Dauphin; her mother, Janet M. King of York. In addition, she also has three brothers who are all from York. She was preceded in death by her father Eugene E. King of York. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date.
