Eugene R. Roush

White Deer - Eugene R. Roush, 80, died Saturday evening, February 26, 2011 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born April 22, 1930 in Salona, PA the son of John and Mabel (Hettinger) Roush. Eugene was married to the former June W. Weary on October 9, 1953. They celebrated 57 years of marriage together. He worked for Eastern Industries for 29 years and retired in 1992. Eugene was a member of the Montgomery American Legion Post 254 and he was a former member of the New Berlin American Legion. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Eugene enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR and tractor pulls. His wife and two special nephews Kenneth Roush, Jr. and Wayne Roush both of Mifflinburg and also a special niece Shirley Roush of Mifflinburg survive him. Also surviving are several other nieces and nephews. Five brothers Clarence, Harold, Randall, Kenneth and Ralph and one sister Romaine Roush preceded Eugene in death. At the request of the deceased there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
