Eugene R. Lentz, Sr

Wrightsville—Eugene R. Lentz, Sr., 71, died Friday, May 8, 2015 at his residence in Wrightsville. A Celebration of Life Service will be 7 PM, Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A viewing will be held from 5-7 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Red Lion Cemetery. Born May 26, 1943 in York, he was the son of the late Robert and Pauline V. (Blymire) Lentz. He was employed with various York County Area companies over the years including, Anvil EPS formerly ITT Grinnell, American Chain & Cable Company and Medusa Cement Company. He was a member of the Seagraves Social Club in Wrightsville. Mr. Lentz is survived by one son, Eugene R. Lentz, Jr., and his wife, Anita of Windsor; one daughter, Kimberly S. Lentz of York; two grandchildren, Darren Lentz and Bryceton Lentz and close friend/care giver, Raquel L. Coon of York. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406 to honor his loyal cat “Black Jack”.
