Renovo - Eugene J. "Chip" Kisko, 75, passed away, Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Geisinger Medical Center. He was born June 24, 1932 in Bitumen the son of the late Joseph & Mary (Paloskey) Kisko. He was married to the former Grace "Susie" Miller and they celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on November 27, 2006 Chip worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and Conrail as a brakeman retiring in 1992 after 40 years and then he assisted his grandson Gene Ransdorf and wife Jill as caretaker of St. Joseph Cemetery. He was a member of St. Joseph Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and great-grandfather. Chip always had time for everyone. Chip was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his loving wife: Four Daughters: Susan (Ronnie) Ransdorf, Becky (Bill) Snyder, Karen (Harold) Dent and Sandy (Joe) Ransdorf all of Renovo. 8 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildren Two Brothers Bill Kisko of Smethport, PA and Sonny (Shirley) Kisko of Renovo Three Sisters Fran (Bill) Smitchko of Clarence, PA, Betty (George) Simon of Renovo and Bert (Marty) Brown of Florida He was expecting a great-grandchild in December. The funeral service will be held 3:00 P.M., Sunday, Sept., 16, 2007 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street with Rev. Donald E. Boslett officiating. Friends and relatives will be received from 1:00 -3:00 P.M. Interment will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner. The family will provide the flowers.
