KINGSTON-Eudora Tabb (Miner) Alexis, 95, of Kingston, formerly of Lee Park, passed away Tuesday, September 06, 2011 at The Laurels, where she had been a resident for the past 10 years. Born in Wilkes-Barre on April 19, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Archie W. and Mary (Tabb) Miner. She was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School. Eudora was a member of Albright United Methodist Church and was a life member of the former Parrish Street United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir. She loved to play the piano. Prior to retiring, she was employed by Penn-Miller Insurance Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Alexis; brothers William, Ronald and Robert Miner; sisters Hazel Marshall, Margaret Modrovsky and Ruth Kosteva. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, including Robert and Beth Miner, Forty Fort; James and Lorraine Miner, Hunlock Creek and Karen Scott, Lake Mohawk, NJ. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Fern Knoll Burial Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Candy’s Place, 190 Wells St. # 120, Forty Fort, PA 18704.
