Ethel M. (Danner) Brenner

YORK HAVEN – Ethel M. (Danner) Brenner, 86, passed away at her son’s home on Saturday, March 5, 2022. All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Beaver Urich Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Born May 29, 1935 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Orvan Oliver and Dorothy May (Martin) Danner. Mrs. Brenner was a proud single mother of three, who was able to raise her kids on a waitress’s earnings. Mrs. Brenner worked for many years as an executive housekeeper for the Disney Resort in Florida. In her free time, Mrs. Brenner enjoyed spending time at Jetty Park in Florida, camping, and going to the beach. Mrs. Brenner was always family oriented, and loved spending as much time with her family as she could. She was also grateful for the opportunity to home school two of her great grandchildren. Mrs. Brenner leaves behind a son, Glenn Smith and his wife Donna of York Haven; two daughters, Glenda Lyons and her husband Robert of Florida, and Billie Tucker and her husband Ronald of Florida; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Orvan Oliver Danner II and his wife Gloria, and Ray Danner and his wife Linda; four sisters; Shirley Troy, a twin sister Emily Johnson, Judy Sipe and her husband Harry, and Marsha Sipe and her husband Gary; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and her dog Pedro. Mrs. Brenner is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Danner.
